Skills Building Maintenance Service Technician
This course will prepare students to perform the duties and responsibilities
required by entry level positions in the building maintenance field, such
as plumbing assembler-installer, maintenance carpenter, carpenter (construction),
electrician helper, manufactured building repairer, and maintenance repairer
(building). Students will learn about the basic principles and techniques
of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical, and heating, ventilation, and
air conditioning, troubleshooting and repair. In addition, they will study
OSHA-based safety standards, and blueprint reading and preparation.
