At CET, time is the variable; achievement is the constant.
At CET, Certificates of Graduation earned continuously. Emphasis is placed on continual evaluation and specific focus on competence in skills area. To measure progress, students are formally evaluated upon the completion of each competency combined with the hours of attendance completed.
Competence is demonstrated through written, oral, or performance demonstration, with a minimum passing score of 70%. Additionally, work habits, attitudes, and personal or family issues are also discussed and assessed with the student as necessary and appropriate.
Some of the major employers who work with and support El Centro's CET programs are Rosa Ramos from Fallas Paredes, Norma Garcia from Garcia Foods, and Mario Corral of G. W. Heineke & Co. to name a few.
