CET is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), one of the most prestigious accrediting agencies in the country. Fifty percent of all CET Centers went through a new accreditation process last year and the remaining fifty percent followed this year. The new process requires compliance with ten standards that are based on federal Department of Education regulations. Following the expert direction and excellent guidance of Ms.

and staff did an outstanding job in conducting their self-studies, adjusting to the new and rigid WASC standards and meeting the tough reviews by the Visiting Teams. Once again all Centers passed the test of accreditation – all have received six-year terms -- the maximum term awarded by WASC. Compliance status represents a big step for all centers, many of which had recently received six-year terms under the former process and had to do the entire process again, this time under the new guidelines.
Accreditation places CET among schools that maintain high standards of service and qualifies the CET centers to be certified by the U.S. Department of Education as eligible
